Morning Sewing and a GIVEAWAY!!!

One of my favorite ways to spend a morning is to do some sewing. Its even more enjoyable with friends! A few weeks ago, Heather and Jess came over and we spent the morning sewing these adorable skirts for the girls! Such an easy pattern (and FREE from Oliver + S, my favorite!) and easy enough for even the beginner sewer (ahhem, Heather!). It took less than 1/2 yard per skirt, making them so cheap to make! I planned on whipping up a few more of them for Eden!

(photo proof that Heather made Avery's skirt!!!)

And if I have anything to do with it, Eden will learn to sew before she learns to hurdle:) I'm already getting a head start (shh... don't tell Josh!) .

Now for the Giveaway!!!!  You all love give-aways, right!? :) I've have these in the works for a few months and have actually sold quite a few already, but I haven't listed them on the website because I can't think of a nifty name... hence where you come in !!! I'd love to give one to whoever can come up with a clever name for these *clever* little bracelets!

Faith Fashions? I already know which one I want to order...Hebrews 12:11-12 "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disable but rather healed." (After my recent surgery, it was this verse that got me to the gym!!) Love your blog! Caroline (Lorren's Mom)

There's no alliteration in this one, but I like Scripture Cuff, Scripture Buddy, Truth Cuff, or Truth Buddy? How sweet would it be to use Eden's middle name!? What a great idea for helping to be reminded of God's Word! It would help in Scripture memorization also. Kudos Steph-great job!

I also liked Kacie's Truth Trinket and Terra's Bible Bangle!

Do you mind me asking what you used to print the verse on? Is it washable? I am looking for something washable to make lables for a couple of quilts-I may just have to bite the bullet and buy some on Etsy though.
